Fatigue Life Analysis of Walking Wheels in Traction Systems
Abstract
Focusing on the walking wheel component of the traction system, this research utilizes cumulative fatigue damage theory and the rainflow counting method to examine fatigue damage. Through fatigue analysis, the study evaluates the impact of varying load magnitudes and surface roughness on the fatigue life of walking wheels. Additionally, the investigation delves into the underlying causes of fatigue damage, offering theoretical insights for the future design and optimization of walking wheels.
